In Support Of Furnishing Futures
This year we are using the event as a way to support the CDQ charity of the year: Furnishing Futures. Furnishing Futures supports survivors of domestic abuse who have been placed into empty social housing. The charity creates professionally designed trauma-informed homes with good quality furniture and appliances donated by industry partners. Despite being in new condition, the donated items would often have ended up in landfill, thus becoming part of a circular economy which benefits the environment and families in need. Each of the Autumn Edit events will cost £5 to attend, with all monies (less booking fees) going directly to Furnishing Futures.
