Case History: His & Hers Wardrobe
WHAT THE CLIENT REQUIRED
For this project we worked with an interior designer whose clients where based in North London and were looking for a hinged door fitted wardrobe to accompany the redesign of their master bedroom. In this case the interior designer came to us with a plan in hand consistent with the theme throughout the house. The samples, textures, materials and plans she provided allowed our designers to get a complete understanding of the redesign project.
The clients requested a 60/40 split between Him & Her – her being 60%. Although in the same wardrobe, they wanted both areas to be separate from one another.
HOW WE ACHIEVED IT
Our team of designers worked closely with the client’s interior designer to come up with the best practical and visually attractive solution for the internal layout according to the room's angled dimensions.
This project required a tactful internal design due to the angled ceiling height. The pull–down hanging rail allows the client to make use of the full height of the wardrobe while still having easy access to the items stored.
External Design : Matt Dark Dove Grey Lacquered Hinged Doors with Line Handles and an LED lighting strip along the top of the wardrobe
Internal Layout : Linen carcass with several internal accessories
