Picturesque, leafy yet cosmopolitan, Hampstead is a haven tucked away in North West London. Full of historical buildings, a buzzy high street and plenty of greenery, Hampstead also plays home to Neatsmith’s Finchley Road showroom. So why not let our talented Neatsmith team show you around?
Best Store - La Coqueta
‘I have often walked past this stunning children’s clothing store in the heart of Hampstead. The designs are simply beautiful and timeless. The sales staff really know what they’re talking about and the clothes are both beautiful and practical for little ones. Now I’ve had my first child I can’t wait to take him in and choose some gorgeous outfits.’ Marianna, Showroom Manager.
Best Florist- Achillea Flowers
‘I don’t really know what I’m buying but I know it’s good!-I’ve been buying flowers from Achillea for years now. And despite my lack of knowledge on all things green their expertise means they always put together something stunning. They manage to come up with some beautiful creations and make the perfect gift for both friends and clients. They’re efficient, charming and understanding, I can’t see myself ever purchasing elsewhere.’ Philipp Nagel, Director.
Best Pub- The Wells
‘Located just off of The Heath, this charming Georgian pub is perfect for an after-walk glass of wine. With a fire-place, board games and friendly staff I love going there to catch up with friends. The menu is great too, with an unbeatable Sunday Roast and the best selection of traditional British puds’ Holly, Designer.
Best Restaurant- El Rocio
‘I love being in Hampstead because there’s a lot going on but it feels far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Being Spanish I’m always rather critical of Spanish Cuisine, however El Rocio is perfect for some casual dining. The price points are great and the staff are really friendly. They also happen to do the best croquetas in North London.’ Marta, Designer.
Best Cinema- Everyman Cinema
‘The perfect date night, whether with a partner, a friend or yourself! I love the plush velvet sofas and foot rests. The capacity of each screen makes it feel like a really intimate affair, there are no loud people in the back or popcorn on the floor. And of-course the ability to have pizza and a wine bucket brought over to your seat isn’t bad either. Everyman has managed to turn the cinema into a truly luxury experience.’ Darcie, Marketing Manager.
