Out With The Old, In With The New

Out With The Old, In With The New

Demi Charalambous

January Blues? Don’t let this month bring you down. January is all about feeling in control. So if you have been thinking about giving your home a re-design or makeover, now is the perfect time: A new year, a new home. That doesn’t mean you have to actually move home. Just be open to change and alter some of the interiors to match the Trends of 2017, giving your place a fresh new perspective. And a little tip for you, in case you were not already aware, green is the colour to have in your home this year.

Pantone’s colour for this year is ‘Greenery’, an uplifting and fresh shade of green. It is a vibrant tone compared to Pantone’s pastel colours of 2016, ‘Rose Quartz’ and ‘Serenity’. This year’s colour is said to be symbolic of new beginnings and to ‘satisfy our growing desire, embodying the greatness of outdoors and the reconnection we seek with nature’. So if you feel as though you don’t go for those long walks in the park you always talk about, why not bring the nature to you and revamp your interiors. Whether it’s painting your bedroom walls or purchasing a new carpet, don’t be afraid of switching things up with a splash of ‘Greenery’.

It’s not too late to fulfill your New Year’s resolution. Let’s Bring On The New!
